When trying to get this working on my site, I couldn’t get it working in IE (11), so I took the code from the CodePen and worked it into a test file on my site. The headers are not rotated and the columns are expanded. When I copied all of my code back into a new CodePen, it rendered correctly. It renders correctly in Firefox.

Is there a difference between rendering in IE and rendering in IE via CodePen?

If it makes a difference, I used the compiled CSS since I’m not running SASS yet.

Thank you in advance for any insight you could lend!

You have to remember that Codepen is doing a lot of work for you. It’s adding a doctype, possibly auto-prefixing vendor prefixes, adding resets…

You have to let us see the live site so we actually tell what isn’t being interpreted.
