I’m trying to write some coding standards for my group and the references I’m finding are inconsistent and/or hopelessly confusing.
Why on earth have they made it unnecessary to close tags?
And why have they deprecated align on some tags and not others?
They also deprecated longdesc and summary. So instead of putting in a summary attribute on a table I’m supposed to encase it in figure tags and add a figcaption?
