I am a long time user of sublimevideo.net but they are closing shop this December 15. my question to you is this, can you suggest a video player of the same caliber that i can replace sublimevideo with – a good example of what i need to emulate is:

Your insights would be much appreciated.
thank you for taking the time to answer this query.

If you need an HTML5 video player, can’t you use the native <video>
tag?
If you need something with more functionality (thumbnails, menus, etc.) then maybe JWplayer is something you could try: http://www.jwplayer.com/
Video.js seems to be a pretty good HTML5 video player.
Hi! :-)
Although you asked this question a few month ago, I think there might be a newer (and maybe better) answer to it. Take a look at http://afterglowplayer.com
First usable version is coming soon, you can find the project over at github: https://github.com/moay/afterglow and a pre-beta preview here: http://afterglowplayer.com/sandbox
For those who don’t want to search in those pages: It’s a drop-in replacement for SublimeVideo which grew up and now is an open source project for the future.
Bye. :-)
Don’t actually think so. First stable release will be out within a few days, just in time to replace SublimeVideo. Current feature set is pretty stable – don’t hesitate to try it out. :)
