html elements on top of canvas

hi all,
im back again with a further question, many thanks to PaulieD who helped on my last question, who also showed me ‘Code Pen’.

Basicaly i want several divs in one page, in each i want to draw a shape using canvas used as a background to that div, then have different html elements on top

Sort of depends on what you are proposing to do.

Canvas is an element that is supposed to be inside a div not act as background.

Will you be animating the canvas?

Will all the divs have the same background?

Will all the divs be the same size?
