Hi everyone! I’m new here on this forum and this is my first post already to ask for help! =P
I’m brazilian and my English is not that great, so please don’t mind the mistakes ok?

I’m new with webdesign (front end design) and I just finished a website for a couple of musicians and they are kind enough to share they work but only through their website, I mean, through their website the visitors can click a music name and play it. Here is an example working on my subdomain:

The problem is that, if you take a look at the source code of the page and right click the name of the song you can download it and I would like to avoid that…

Crawling the internet I found this .htacces code that “I hope” will prevent any hotlinking to their songs, but how am I supposed to prevent downloads using an .htaccess file?

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^*$ [NC]
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^$ [NC]
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^*$ [NC]
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^$ [NC]
    RewriteRule .*.(ogg|mp3)$ - [F,NC]

Thanks in advance for your help!
ps.: Chris, congrats on the awesome work you’ve been doing!
