    Here is a blog template – http://smashing-template.blogspot.in/ The post body color which is white is 980 px in width. How can I make it 1100 and still not move sideways?

    Need more info. What do you mean move sideways? Changing the width would make it appear to move sideways, as it is expanded out the left and right sides. If you simply want the white to be larger and everything stay centered? Probably a padding or margin issue, or include a second wrap.

    Hi Jeager,

    Exactly. When I make it 1100, the alignment moves towards right. I want it to be placed centrally.

    You need to change the width of both #bgcontainer and .CON
