Hi Guys,
I want to know how to stop the automatic sliding on chris’s featured content slider https://css-tricks.com/examples/FeaturedContentSlider/ but keep the transition of the content and the option below to click on any of the thumb to slide through on a specific content…
how do I do this?
It looks like this post in the coda slider forums covers this… and umm, wow what a mess.
*Sigh* it looks like another project I need to help salvage.
Hey thanks for the reply mate… Im currently using it on client work here on the “Latest News from Monitor Systems” box… and also I need to put it on the “Latest Project Additions” box… But it seems that if I use the exact same codes on that box, it wont work (it only works on the 1st box)… Will this slider work if I have two of them on the same page? How do I do that?
I’ve read some of the forum posts, it seems like that request has popped up a lot. So, quick answer… maybe look for another slider. I thought about updating this plugin, but I’ve got enough on my plate as it is.
Have you thought about using AnythingSlider?
perhaps I should ask chris coyier directly he is cool :D
Oh wait are you suggesting that I should use the anything slider for the second box? (Latest Project Additions)?
You should be able to make AnythingSlider act like the coda slider by just adding thumbnail images to the navigationFormatter and a bit of css. I’m not sure what your page looks like, but you can add as many AnythingSliders to your page as you need.
Hey thanks for the advice… used the anything slider :D
