    Is this code that you wrote? or code you found somewhere? im not 100% sure what you want. Do you want it to slide back up when its done?

    I wrote it but I’m not really comfortable using the opacity for that effect. I believe there are better ways to do it, just can’t figure it out right now.

    Yes, the effect I want is when I hover on the image, the figcaption(details) will smoothly scroll down. It’s hidden by default.

    By the way it’s on a responsive design so all images are fluid too.
