I have been playing game called granule fantasy. its a relatively complex game and the whole thing runs on browser. it doesn’t look/feel like separate App embedded into a web page because if you change URL during certain cut scenes you can rewind/fast forward the scenes, so the whole thing is actually rendered by the browser
how does that work? is it even html/css/js?
