I have ColdFusion installed, but I haven’t gotten around to using it, but every time I start my Mac, the ColdFusion server starts. There’s no Preferences menu with ColdFusion. I think I have to use a script or do it in the browser.

EDIT: Let me try to explain it better. I am using the local testing server JWS that comes with ColdFusion 8. I am able to open ColdFusionLauncher to stop and start the server. But, I would like to make it so I have to manually start the server when I want to use it. Currently, the ColdFusion server starts when I turn on my Mac. I am able to login to the ColdFusion Admin area, but I don’t see any option for stopping the server from automatically starting on startup :(

    Code:
    cd /Applications/ColdFusion8/bin
    sudo ./cf-init.sh uninstall

So I have to uninstall it completely?

cf-init uninstall removes the initializer scripts that run when the system boots. If you want to restore the init scripts, just replace uninstall with install.
