    I am wondering how, in video cast 72, Chris measured the dimension of his webpage elements in photoshop. Can anyone help me out?

    use the ruler

    press F8 to make the info palette appear …
    click and hold on the eyedropper a pop up menu will appear … click on the ruler …

    also if you use firefox you can install the add-on “FOX GUIDE 1.4” … this will help you too …
