How do I let users add a pin to google map?

My problem is SIMPLE. I want to create a map on Google Maps. Let’s call it the “friends” map.

Then, I want people to be able to come to my site and through the use of the geolocation API, add their current location to the map… all from my site.

After they’ve submitted it, I want the new map on my site (google map API) to reflect their location.

How do I do this?
