I’m working on a website for a NPO I’ve never done any web design before this actual project. This is the website I’ve done : http://www-etud.iro.umontreal.ca/~duryjean/acna/Carbon%20neutral%20Antarctica/index.html

Since we’re moving into multiple languages I’ve done a Photoshop mockup of the home page which redirects to each language : http://i.imgur.com/JMdMc.jpg?1

I want the icebergs picture to be a re-sizable background. That works.. But for the links to the languages…

    – I’ve tried mapping my image, but this needs pixel perfection and when the window gets re-sized these are moved…

    – Then I tried overlaying images for each subsection but they won’t stick in the glassy effect box…

    – Then I tried separating the whole image where the effect is applied, since it’s an overlay effect over the wallpaper screen It doesn’t look good (the clouds don’t align).

What I’d ultimately like is something like this : http://www.ats.aq/seleccion.htm

Is it possible keeping the style showed in the mockup? Could someone clarify or should I give up and go with a traditional box with opacity?

    Thanks in advance!
