Hi i’m Abdurraouf ,, 19 years old guy i loved the web and i wanted to do something for the web

i want to be a perfect web designer and a lot of guys in the world alike ..

i want this discussion to be a reference for me and all guys who wanted to be web professional !!
while i was writing a message for Chris Coyier about this topic i decided to make it public to help the all.!

Q : How can i be a web professional and what should i do to be ??

we want a clear step-by-step Roadmap to start learning .. what should we do first and next ??
how can we gain great knowledge in the perfect way ? what are the tools and technologies should we use and what should we don’t?

i hope you got the idea ,, help us to achieve our dreams and make a better world !!

A lot of people in this community are in the same or similar boat to you.
I myself am quite young, and therefore have only been developing for 1-2 years.

I first started by buying books. Check out Chris’ Bookshelf It has some good books. I also suggest looking at the books at A book apart: A Book Apart

Begin by learning the basics: HTML & CSS. Without these technologies you can’t begin to make websites!
Read articles (like here) or other like Nettuts+ There are many others.
If you really want to learn you need to put in the effort and try.
If you have friends that want to learn web development, or even know it already, try and work with them.
