**Hi!**
Hope everyone is well. =)
I’m redesigning my website and I want to create a site that scrolls horizontally. I want my menu on the left hand side and have all the content come from the right. I was wondering if it’s possible to create something that allows me to do this without iFrames and would work on any Mobile platform.
Like this site: http://blacknegative.com but not in sections, I want the scrolling more “organic”. (this site works in the mobile environment)
**NOTE**
I’m a web designer, not so much developer. I’ll be making this site myself (I want the experience). Please be gentle.
**THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!**
Design-wise, I think it highly unlikely that you will be able to achieve a left hand menu AND have horizontal scrolling.
You would have almost no space for your content AND a menu on a smartphone.
PS. I’m not sure what ‘organic’ scrolling means.
this could be something to start with:
Try resizing the results window, as you can see the menu stays in place for desktop computers and jumps on top for smaller displays, that way you won’t have to see a big menu in front of the content while browsing the site with your iPhone.
Thanks Joni! That’s exactly what I need. =)
I really appreciate the help!
