Help with menu button

Hi,

Thanks for this awesome webpage :)
Now to my problem. I’m kinda new in webdesigning and i stumbled on a problem.
I need to make my menu buttons like this :

I want to know is this possible with pure css ?
Because i don’t like to deal with pictures.
Hope i can get help here.

My guess is that it MIGHT be possible by using a pseudo element.

But doesn’t work like i need :)
I think i should to this with sliding door.

Edit: Sliding doors don’t work either ;/
It will move my menu buttons because of right image padding…
(Building page with Joomla!)
Or i’m just not smart enuff…
