help with image map rollover

I am trying to create a map with points on it that i can roll the mouse pointer over and a thumbnail .png image will pop up. I want to be able to double click and load the full size image.
I use mapedit editing software.

Any help is appreciated.

So what have you tried so far?

So far i have created the image map with coordinates for the points. I can place the mouse over a point and click it and it loads the full image. I cant get a thumbnail to popup on mouse over. Im only using html5 and css3 for this.
