Hi there – many thanks for anyone that can help with the below.

I am making this site for a client:
    http://dev3.nd-marketing.com/

I had a designer make banners for the rotating area at the top of the homepage, and she made the background colour the same as the site background so that the banners blend nicely.

Except I have noticed that on other people’s machines, I can see the border between the banner and the site background quite clearly… the colour is not matched correctly.

I did some research and I think this issue is to do with colour profiles of the banner images, but honestly i have no idea how I should approach fixing the problem so that the colours blend across browsers and platforms

    can anyone advise?

    many thanks for any help

Yeah your issue is not only browsers, but different machines can display different color tones. I don’t see a real problem on my machine, although you could get the images made as png’s just with the text and image, then apply a background to them, the same colour as the site’s background. That’s the only fix i can see, there may be more.
