I have an image and a div with a blockquote, the div has a border surrounding it. When the blockquote is set to fixed, the element does not move when scrolling, but the problem is that the bottom of the block quote goes over the bottom border of the div as if it were a floating element, when its position is set to absolute or relative the bottom of the blockquote is hidden behind the bottom of the div its inside, meaning you can scroll up and down just to see it. Im trying to get the bottom of the blockquote to be hidden behind the div instead of having it appear to be ontop of the div because of the fact that the element goes outside the div hanging over the bottom border of the div its inside of. I also want to keep the block quote from scrolling as if it were fixed, i cant change the position property to fixed because then it goes over outside the div. How do i fix this?

Are you really expecting an answer without showing us any of the code…
