Help me with an iframe problem

Im trying to create a page that is nothing but a link, or frame of another. I have one page with a blockquote in a div, the div has an id of id=”blockquote” the other page has an iframe tag with the src of src=”index.html#blockquote”

This is intended to show only the div with the blockquote id in the iframe but i get the entire page. Is there any way I could fix this so only the linked # id would show up in the iframe?

If you visit a page with an anchor in the URL does it only show the anchored element? No. An iframe is no different.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish and why? There might be a better solution.
