Help – Create Overlay Search Box for Joomla!

Hello Guys,

I am new here and I don’t know about forum rules, If I post unrelated question I am sorry.

I need to create a search box with full screen overlay.

There is a demo in codepen, But I don’t know how to use it in joomla search module :(

The way I see it, your options are to either examine the provided Joomla module markup (use F12 to open the developer toolbar in the browser) and modify the CSS and JS so that it applies to the HTML that’s already there, OR, modify the Joomla module markup so that the provided CSS and JS works with that instead. You should be able to create template overrides in the Template Manager.
