    Hi All.

Looking for some help getting my site looking right in safari.

The problem is with a plugin i am using (WordPress) the creates a currency dropdown box, i have styled this to fit into my site in the correct position and it looks fine in chrome, FF, IE but is messed up in safari.

The site can be seen http://escapeandco.com/ and the problem element is top right.

ANy help would be greatly appreciated

    Any specific version of Safari.

I assume we’re not talking about Safari for Windows?

Also, specifics are helpful….messed up is a little vague.

    Hi Paulie.

Yes very sorry, posted in a rush and the post isn’t very helpful.

    Some specifics.

I am using safari for windows v5.1.7 but the issue is also present on ipad.

The issue i am having is the positioning of 1 element, which is only happening in safari, it is a small drop down so users can select currency, this is placed in my WP theme via the header.php.

The code i am using is

    div class="currencytop" style="right: 85px; top: 6px; width: 9%;"><?php echo do_shortcode('[woocs]'); ?></div>

I have had to style the code to get it to a position i was happy with and it looks OK in all browsers except safari.

You can see the offending element on my homepage here (top right on chrome but shifts under the social icons in safari) http://escapeandco.com/

    Thanks

No…don’t bother with Safari 5 on Windows…it’s a dead browser…No-one, and I mean no-one, is using it…and there are no later Windows versions.

Apple stopped supporting it years ago.

As for the rest of it, I can’t test as I’m on Windows.

    Thanks Paulie.

I don’t personally use safari, simply for testing as i don’t have a mac.

But the issue is present on latest version on iPad and iPhone.
