    Hello all,

I’m looking into maybe creating an SVG instead of a Div or Img on a page. Mainly because I want the content to scale and I want the text over the image to be interactive.

Using a CSS background won't work for me because I don't want the position of the text overlay to shift over the background.(Unless there is a trick to stopping this)

So, does anyone know if an inline SVG with some text and links is searchable? Does Google index this content? Or does it skip around the Svg element and consider it a media element or image?

    Thank you.

    Links supposedly not, text yes.

Lucky for you, the three-letter taboo term apparently doesn’t get rejected when it’s within topic titles. Lol.
