    Hi I’m wondering if anyone has any experience creating a Google Map with the Search Nearby sidepanel on it, where you have the options to see Restaurants Nearby and Hotels Nearby etc. In the Google Places API, they only have the search box, or search for hotels etc. and they don’t actually have the same functionality as actual Google Maps. If anyone has a working example of this, it would be really helpful so I can look and see what they did.

    Is this what you’re asking about? You can search within a specified radius of a location (lat,long) with various refinements.
