Hi,
I’m doing something just for my own experiment really. It’s for a school assignment. I’d like to make a site where a user uploads a photo with the address of where the photo was taken via a form. The info would be stored to a database that way users can search a Google map by zip code and find photos that users have uploaded in that zip code. I’m new to php and mysql so I know that this is over my head but I thought if I followed tutorials I might be able to figure it out. I’m thinking of using this:
https://developers.google.com/maps/articles/phpsqlinfo_v3
except I don’t want a little popup window to show the form. I want a traditional form separate from the map.
So then I thought maybe I should create a traditional form and then use this tutorial….It doesn’t show me how to create a new row for each new form submission…I could figure that out from the previous maybe??

I found this Gallery2 version but i’m worried it may be too out of date or may not be very easy to change the look of it.

I know this is a bit of a sporadic post but mm I on the right track? My brain is jumbling.
Thanks for your help…Also I wasn’t sure where to post this so I figured php was the closest area.
oh wait, nevermind I think I figured out a different way to do what I wanted.
