Do you set up an account for a client using their name and info?
Or
Do you set up an account for your business and keep all the clients under your account?
I’m kind of leaning towards setting up an account in their name so that they will be able to take it with them if they ever moved or decided to go with someone else. I didn’t know how easy or if it’s possible to transfer the analytics from one account to another.
How do you set up google analytics for a client?
This is something I’ve often wondered as well…
I have them set up an account, if they don’t have one already. :)
Ha!. It’s funny that this thread is up because I’ve just been introduced to a new project where I’m faced with this issue.
I’m thinking of setting up an account per client. That just seems like it would be easier. If I’m not mistaken you can set up their account and then allow your account to have access to it. I’m not 100% on that though.
@kevsyers Yeah, users are able to create client access accounts.
