I’m redesigning some web pages and have gotten everything where I want it, except that positioning of the global text at the top of the page is inconsistent between IE, Chrome and Firefox. It’s an unordered list set to display inline. I’m trying to get everything to right justify, including the search. Another issue is getting the new Google Search to display properly inline with the text. Search box size is really inconsistent between IE Chrome and Firefox, and positioning is low in IE8. Your text to link…
A solution to one or both issues would be huge!

Firstly, remember that the site does NOT have to be pixel perfectly the same in different browsers.

Otherwise try some conditional style sheets to solve the issues.
