    I’d like to give the list-items a counting class. How can I do this? For example:

  • category

    • 

  • category

    • 

  • category

    • 

  • category

    • 
etc.

    Why don’t you use child selectors?

    Because I want to target them with javascript and the amount of classes is dynamic. And since I’m creating them with php I want to add the classes in the same place.
