Hey all! I think my question covers a few different categories of knowledge, so I appreciate anything you can contribute along the way.
I have this beautiful pattern in vector format that I would like to use as a background on my website: http://s9.postimg.org/8pxwgtcov/yellow_pattern.png
I’m currently unsure, 1) how to crop the pattern in Illustrator perfectly so that it repeats seamlessly, and 2) how to most appropriately display the (non-inline) SVG file as a pattern.
This article (https://bocoup.com/weblog/using-svg-patterns-as-fills) was helpful regarding question 2, but it seems that if I’d prefer to use a non-inline SVG I can just use background and background-repeat as you would with any other PNG pattern.
