    I am trying to create my own button that would allow a reader to send the content of my blog post to someone via email (I know I can use plugins but I’m trying avoid that).

    I was wondering if anyone knew the code to do this?

    If you know PHP, you can throw something together that fit your needs perfectly using the SwiftMailer library. http://swiftmailer.org/

    If you don’t – just grap a plugin… :-)
