    For everyone who reads this: the Forrst voting system is currently shut down (has been for some time), also, no additional invites are being given to existing members.

    I currently have 14 invites, but I won’t be handing them out willy-nilly. The reason that the community is currently closed is due to the massive decrease in post quality and I want to make sure that I am only inviting those that would benefit the community.

    If you would like an invite, please leave a link to your blog/portfolio/substantial work, the reason you want to join and why you would be a good fit, and your email.

    Sorry for making it difficult, but I’m sure that you wouldn’t want to be a part of the community if its members didn’t feel strongly about keeping it great!

    Interestingly when I applied, I linked to my github account and was auto-invited to Forrst… I’m not sure if that method is still working. I’m sure there was some check as well, just not sure what.

    @joshuanhibbert that makes sense. We probably wouldn’t have a lot of interest in getting in if we didn’t expect to see high quality behind the login. ChristopherBurton above just lowered my expectations a bit saying he deleted his account :(

    @nonsalant Yeah, I deleted my account within a week, I believe. At least it felt that short. I feel Forrst is terrible at UX. Scrolling endlessly was pretty annoying just to see the latest 10 posts.
