    Hey all,

I cannot figure out why the footer does not appear on these two pages like it does on all the other pages:

    http://www.bigfootcanoerental.com/contact/
    http://www.bigfootcanoerental.com/reservations/

This is a WP powered site and these forms are hooked up with the contact-form-7 plug-in. Does anyone know why these pages take so darn long to load…at least it does on my end?

    Thanks in advance!
    Nick

Validation will probably speed up the page loads as the browser won’t have to spend so long working out what it’s supposed to display.
    Contact page 16 errors http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bigfootcanoerental.com%2Fcontact%2F

    Reservations page 51 errors http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bigfootcanoerental.com%2Freservations%2F

Thanks apostrophe, I’ll look into this…this is another reason why NOT to us WPCoder for your psd to xhtml needs… *shakes head in the negative*

    Ouch! :o That is shocking!
I was actually a little reticent about criticising your code, but now I know it was done by an alleged "professional" I have no such reservations. I checked the other pages too, which is obviously more than our "professional" friend did, only the home page validates.
Got to be honest and say that it really winds me up that people can charge good money for such a half-assed service, while I (who wouldn’t dream of turning over a half finished, untested site to a client) often have to work very hard just to find work.

Yeah, it seems more and more I find I got screwed in just about every way when I had "professionals" complete this project for me. If you would like to be filled in on the whole story, check out my post on this same forum at viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3976

    Thank you for your help.

    Nick
