    Below is a link to a page I have made using CSS.

    http://www.at-tazkiyah.com/images/error_messages/index2.html

    The problem I am having is with the footer div

    For some reason it is appearing in the middle of the page. I need it at the bottom of the page.

    Please help.

    For some reason it is appearing in the middle of the page. I need it at the bottom of the page.

    It’s because it’s not floated at all.

    It’s positioned absolutely.

    Also, you haven’t contained the floats on your .subArticle wrapper div.

    .subArticle {
      border: 0px solid #000;
      width: 100%;
      height: auto;
      text-align: right;
      line-height: 60px;
      overflow: hidden; /* quick clearfix */
    }

    That’s one way of clearing floats but there are others.
