I have used this guide to set up Flex box https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/a-guide-to-flexbox/

An example of what i have https://codepen.io/anon/pen/BvpYmp

So far its looking good, but

    1. The “hello” and “hello again” text isnt below the image, to associate the image with the text. How could i do this?
    2. By default it has six columns but to make it 4 columns would i just increase the flex-item width or is there a better way?

    You mean like this:

As for the number of columns, you’d need a media query to force the container to be no more that 4 elements wide (say 600px) so that it will wrap…but you may not get the look you are after.

Flexbox is not a grid system so you won’t necessarily get columns…

Great! i was trying to use Bootstrap but once i had it referenced within the site it knocked off the design. This looks good so i will have a play around.
