Flash & Validation Errors

  • # November 8, 2009 at 1:29 pm

I’ve been looking and various tools for generating flash photo galleries but most appear to generate code that conflict with W3C standards. I’ve read various articles on how to make flash compliant but, I’m out of my depth here!

The application I’m evaluating is called photo-flash-make – it generates 2 files

    1) HTML

    < !DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "">

    Created by Photo Flash Maker
Order full version now to remove watermark and software logo at the end of slideshow.

    2) An XML file – where the pictures are driven from?

    < ?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>

All works OK when I incorporate into a webpage but numerous validation errors get thrown-up via the W3C markup service – all of which appear to relate to the way a flash file is used.

Any help in how to make this code compliant gratefully accepted.

Thanks for the reply – using swfobject clears all the validation errors – will test further – many thanks
