Hi
I’m starting to create my first wordpress theme. I’ve created a new page called ‘mywork’ and I’ve created and attached its own template which works fine.
I’m going through Chris’ videos which has helped me alot but struggling to find out how he has managed to archive all of his videos together. I understand hes made a loop, but how has he posted those videos? Is it a custom post type?
I’m trying to basically do a similar thing but to display my work in a similar fashion. I’ve made a new page called mywork and attached a custom template. Now I’m kinda stuck from there.
I want the Mywork page to be an archive of all the work i’ve done – each post giving a link to a seperate page with more info.
I’m struggling to find out how do I post in that page? I want to run a loop so that only posts that i’ve posted in that page will be displayed. if that makes sense?
Sorry i’m really new to wordpress.
Thanks in advance.
Abdhul
Do I just post a normal blog post with a certain category and then run a loop which only shows posts in that category?
Hi,
i bet its an custom-taxonomy or an custom post type…
