Feedback Wanted on Day Build

I started a ground up redesign of a website I built around a year ago. My plan is to launch it tonight, but I would love some feedback on usability and overall design.

Note, I did the original site as a side project and besides this site I don’t do any other kind of web design/development, so I’m still a newbie. I’m trying to keep the site purely html and css.

Oh, wow. Roboto has changed some of its letterforms.

I mean you could do something with the headings. Perhaps adding a border-bottom?

I’d also rethink about how you structure the text under those headings.

Additionally, the first part of the footer (the large area), I’d put some large graphics there instead. Perhaps when you click on them, you can make the graphic disappear and then load the content in with ajax?
