Fading Background Images not working when page scrolls

Apologies for another post. Basically we have a wrapper that applies jQuery to it which cycles through and fades between 5 different background images, which are Position: Fixed, for the page. However when you scroll down beyond the initial viewport of the page the fade effect is lost. The actual fade is still taking place but only in the region covered by your initial viewport. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Again I apologise but I am unable to disclose a link to the site.
