Event Apart Austin

Hey,
I’m new to the boards and I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone was going to the Event Apart in Austin this year. I’m a Web Designer for a Credit Union in IL and this is my first web related job and conference. I’ve been a print designer since 2000. So a lot of this is new to me. Since I’m going to the conference solo, I thought I’d see if I could meet people on the forums and maybe meetup in person.

I think you’ll walk away with your mind appropriately blown. Keep an open mind and let it all soak in. I’m sorry to see that Austin doesn’t have Mike Montiero as a speaker, but they do have the video of a couple of his talks online that will change your point of view (at least they did for me):
