Hi again,
I’m working on developing a site for my dad which I started in Drupal. After working with Drupal for a while now I find it to be… a tad bit irritating. I’d really like to switch to WordPress because I find it to be a bit more usable in general, although there are less features from what I’ve heard/seen, which is the sole reason I don’t want to just scrap the whole site and move straight over to WordPress. Now, I don’t know if this applies to the site I’m trying to build, so I’m asking anyone who’s got a bit of experience with WordPress to tell me if this is possible and maybe point be to some modules, excuse me, plugins, that would get the job done.
Here’s the site: http://ucmcweb.org/

I see absolutely no reason that site cannot be done in WordPress and I think Drupal is WAY too much for a site this basic, anyway. WordPress would be far better of a CMS.
The only plugin I’d heavily recommend (but not required) using is Gravity Forms for the Prayer Requests/Bulletins:
Just because forms are such a pain in the @ss. Gravity Forms makes it wonderfully easy.
@Luminated Thanks a bunch, I’ll post a link to the new WordPress version once it’s done.
@Luminated I’d love to get that plug in… but I’m sure there’s a free alternative. I understand it will be harder to use, but for the moment that would be worth it to me.
