I would like you to help me about Using and make Style that use with Sifr font for use with drop down menu. Pls write or build a complete file with Zip or RAR file.
Thanks.
Pls everybody help me for making Drop down menu use with sifr.
sIFR is kinda old and utilizes Flash, and I really wouldn’t recommend it in an environment where content needs to be hidden and shown (there are issues with that and Flash). The whole point is using custom fonts, and that’s way easier with @font-face. Check out Font Squirrel where you can download lots of free font packs to use custom fonts.
Interesting that Vanilla uses the @ syntax to enable you to link to profiles.
I’d certainly recommend using something indeed like font-face for this. Definitely avoid using sIFR, and even something like Cufon might be a bit buggy.
For Font-face is easy to do but when we use Sifr with drop down menu it really can not especially use with IE 6 or 7.
There’s not really a lot you can do about that.
Hiding Flash (sIFR) is buggy in all browsers.
font-face isn’t supported by all browsers
Try something like Cufon: http://cufon.shoqolate.com/generate/
