    Any of you guys know about this? Why it happens? How to resolve it?

    Now, I know that adding border to the second div will somewhat fix it but that’s hardly a solution.

    We highly encourage you to post problematic HTML/CSS/JavaScript over on CodePen and include the link in your post. It’s much easier to see, understand, and help with when you do that.

    Firefox can be strict on specs, but I’m not sure, anyway overflow: auto on the div containing the float will resolve this (everywhere, at least in modern browsers).
