When I first enter a page with an instance of anythingslider on it, the right scrollbar appears for an instant before the javascript kicks in and sets up the slider on the page. Is there a way around this so all a visitor will see is the finished slider instead of one being constructed?
wud be better if u create a pen
What I usually do, is give the container (the one that has the scrollbar for a second) a fixed width and height and overflow:hidden;
. Though to be honest, I feel it’s a bit like cleaning up a problem when I’m certain the problem itself can be avoided in the first place. Another solution could be to make the slider contents hidden (with 0 opacity, not display:none;
or visibility:hidden
and then only make them visible once the slider plugin is ready.
