Custom Woocommerce Shop pages

Hi Everyone,

I have a customer how has a seemingly unique WordPress/Woocommerce specification.

To put it simply, she has two different web based stores that she wants merged into one Woocommerce store. She wants the store to be subdivided in to two sections (pages), one representing each original web store front.

I was planning to have different Woocommerce categories for each set of products and assign each individual product to the appropriate category. I was then going to create custom Woocommerce store pages for each category.

My question to you is one: is this the best approach, and two: If so can you point me in the right direction for API examples to do this.

I am skilled with WordPress development, but have never worked with Woocommerce before.

Hi Tim! I believe that you found best possible way to handle with it. You can do different customization to different categories. Smart way to handle it, some time ago I had a client who also wanted to do something like that but we ended with 3 different shops on the same domain and different sub-domain.
