CSS3 Question About Attribute Selectors

Still kinda new to the whole html5 and css3 thing, I’m kinda lost on a certain Attribute Selector….

Can one replace the ID’s and Class’s with the new ‘ Name ‘ selector?

Also, is there a new tag for a ‘ Wrapper ‘, or do we still have to use a Div Tag?

Also just as a note because a lot of people are getting confused, attribute selectors have been around since CSS 2 and the first days of IE7.

They are in no way related to the CSS3 spec directly but just included as an area that could use some speed improvements.
