    Ladies and Gentlemen,

    If anyone can help I will be eternally grateful.

    I am attempting to insert a custom image into a header on Squarespace for a friend of mine.

    I have inserted the following code but the image displays differently on different monitors meaning it doesn’t always align with the rest of the content (sometimes it’s outside of website’s margin).

    `<a href=”https://wwwmisscurrentcom.squarespace.com/about-1/”&gt;

    <img class=”thumb-image loaded” data-src=”https://static.squarespace.com/static/53ce81e3e4b065e3be155770/53cfbd0ce4b056db8c5d3b42/53e4fdb9e4b036cda0551713/1407516127095/header-shipping.png?format=1000w&#8221; align:=”” middle;=”” data-image="https://static.squarespace.com/static/53ce81e3e4b065e3be155770/53cfbd0ce4b056db8c5d3b42/53e4fdb9e4b036cda0551713/1407516127095/header-shipping.png?format=1000w" data-image-dimensions="960x41" style="top: 114px; position: relative;margin-left: 150px;" data-image-resolution="1500w" src="https://static.squarespace.com/static/53ce81e3e4b065e3be155770/53cfbd0ce4b056db8c5d3b42/53e4fdb9e4b036cda0551713/1407516127095/header-shipping.png?format=1000w" id="yui_3_17_2_1_1407515470914_1223"&gt;
    </a>

    First suggestion: Don’t code dump. I get that you’re working with Square Space but still… Try to create a Codepen. If you don’t… we can’t really know what’s going on. Which brings me to my…

    Next Suggestion: Tell your friend not to use Square Space.

    In this instance a link to the ‘broken’ page would be more useful.

    I second the “Don’t Use” suggestion.

    Many of these ‘cookie-cutter’ site generation services (like SquareSpace & Weebly) aren’t built for the fully customised options I see people trying to do.

    When they say ‘fully customisable’ they mean “fully customisable within a defined set of paramenters’.

    Try to add an image that is 100px wider than the maximum they allow and it all falls over.

    I’m not sure if “don’t use Squarespace” is helpful in any way.

    Sure there are “better” alternatives, but the OP is using it and I’m sure they have their reasons for it (it can be a very quick way of putting a ready-made site together). I don’t think they’re trying to “fully customize” it but just need a little help with an image.

    I do second @WIX ‘s comment about the code dumps though cause the issue is not really clear to me, even after looking at the site in question.

    Hi Senff,

    Thanks for your reply and your understanding.

    Personally I prefer working with WordPress however Squarespace is the quickest and cheapest option in the short-term (free theme, payment processing etc).

    I have used the code elsewhere and it’s working fine, must be Squarespace itself. I will issue a support ticket with them however they tend to not want to help with customization issues.

    Thanks again.
