I have design I’m working of an aperture from a lens. I’m trying to make it open and close.
Problem is when I transition from one aperture setting to the next the border radius stops taking effect during the transition thus ruining the effect.
This is still a work in progress, but this the one thing I can’t quite figure out.
Here it is on CodePen:*

_*Right now I only have it working in webkit_
thats is a webkit bug i have experienced too firefox works fine for me everytime.this bug appears with a combination of border radius and transition
The only solution would be to create a div with the border radius of 100%. Put all those opening and closing things inside that div, and add overflow:hidden to the div.
It’s a bit hackie, but what ya gonna do? Masks the bug.

Thanks!
Forked it and made some design changes. No need for the hackery now. Thought I’d share.
