    Super action school news? :-)

I noticed you made it a translate3d, this should add another performance increase. From what I’ve read, it enables hardware acceleration where available. This could be especially helpful in Chrome which has a bit more trouble with composite layers in my experience.

Ha, ha! Reporting on what’s for dessert in the school canteen is always breaking news ;)

Yes, I try to use 3D transforms when I can. From this article (‘How Hardware Acceleration Works’) https://www.sitepoint.com/introduction-to-hardware-acceleration-css-animations/

The difference between the 3D and 2D transforms is that 3D transforms make the browser create a separate composite layer beforehand, while 2D transforms do it on the fly.
