    Hi all,

    Just a newbie question…

    I’m trying to achieve the same layout effect as:(http://www.landrover.com/ca/en/lr/)

    I looked at their source code/css an I tried to simulate it as much as possible…but of course it’s not working as planned
    http://platinumonelimo.com/

    * Their top main banner is extra long (horizontally)…So I got my own large image, the same size 1600px
    I set my banner in the middle (margin: 0 auto;), but when I resize my browser it does not resize the same way…the image stay static in the same spot.
    What am I doing wrong?

    Please if anyone can point out the layout set up I need to use, it would very much appreciated!!! :)

    Body is the right place for the background image, not #header. Try to add this to body:

    background: #000 url("../images/main_banner.jpg")no-repeat 50% 0%;

    And sorry, but your code looks bad. In html you have way to much keywords, title is to long(spammy). And in css you should use css reset, shorthand and so on. You should should really use a css grid system, like 960gs.
