    Hey everyone,

I’m having a hard time trying to describe this, but I’ll give it my best shot. I’m using the Q-Tip2 JQuery plug-in on a site to create tool tips when you rollover a nav item (here’s a link to the test site, the rollovers are the 4 services in the subnav: http://www.linseedstudio.com/projects/FinanceBoston/about.html). Except I’m making the tool tips unusually big as they’re serving more as containers for small paragraphs than tiny three word pop-ups. The problem is that when you rollover a link and the tool tip appears, it’s a bunch of text on top of the text that’s on the page behind it, so it’s kind of a mess. I’m trying to figure out how I can roll over the link for a tool tip and have a semi-transparent overlay (like Lightbox) appear over the div containing text behind the tool tip to make the tool tip stand out. The overlay would have to automatically fit over the text box behind the tooltip (as they are different sizes for different pages). So basically, roll over one thing, activates overlay on another thing that’s perfectly fit to that thing. Not sure if this makes sense but if anyone has any helpful info, I would sure appreciate it.

    Best,

    Mike
